In 2019 Matera has been elected European Capital of Culture. I was invited by Altofest (a art and performance festival) to make a residency just nearby the city of Matera.
‘Chiusi In Un Cerchio’ is a short documentary about a village called ‘La Martella’ famous today for being the product of a certain post-war left-wing visions; an experiment in socialist architecture, urbanisation and displacement.
