Plant Based is a short film commissioned by Ilaria Garzillo and Martina Solli for the art installation Mediterraneo Critico – Coltiva il Futuro, held on the island of Ischia in the Gulf of Naples.
The piece features footage shot with a series of macro lenses in a shrubland in Southern Italy. It combines slow-motion and fast paced footage accompanied by an electronic score performed on a synthesizer.
